Update from Teacher Elaine

Dear Parents and students of EP1 Purple,

As you know I have been off school the past week and the doctor has recommended I stay off work until I am fully recovered. This week the lessons will be taken by the two Ep1 teachers as well as other Prathom English teachers. I hope to be back to school next week, all going well. I am looking forward to getting back to school and being with the children.

On another note, I want to say Well done to EP1 purple for all their hard work and for trying their very best in all their tests. I am very proud of you all!! πŸ™‚

Science – Animal sounds

In Science this week we are learning about different animals and their sounds. These are some of the videos we have watched to help us learn the sounds and how to recognise them.

Here is another lovely video we watched when we were finished our work.

We also love dancing and singing to this popular song.It helps us learn the animal sounds and it is great fun!! πŸ™‚

Splat Cat

We have now finished our Splat Cat book. We enjoyed reading the stories in class and at home. In school we read in pairs, read as a class and read ourselves. This book helped us to remember our letter sounds and blend them together to make words. We put our fingers under the words to help us learn. We also do lots of whiteboard work, finding -at words, -ap words, -en words and many tricky words. Well done Ep1 Purple!

Spelling List 7

Here is this week’s spelling list. Let’s try our best to beat last weeks score. We practise them everyday in school and if we practise them at home we will do really well. REMEMBER to write them but most importantly say them out loud and spell them. Don’t forget the question mark and full stop.
