Science – Mammals and Birds

In science we are studying different types of animals. We have studied mammals and Birds. When the children bring home their notebooks please practise reading and writing the information with them. Get the children to tell you about what they have learned.

Science – Vertebrates and Invertebrates.

We have been studying Vertebrates and invertebrates in Science class. We know there are two types of animals, vertebrates; which have a backbone, and invertebrates, which have no backbone. We have learned what animals are vertebrates and which ones are invertebrates. This is a great video we have watched in class to understand about this topic. Watch it at home. The video also talks about mammals which we will be studying next week.

Maths – Counting in 10’s

This week we are still working on subtraction. In class we review counting in 2’s, 5’s and now are are learning to count in tens. Practise each song at home every night. 🙂
