In science we are studying different types of animals. We have studied mammals and Birds. When the children bring home their notebooks please practise reading and writing the information with them. Get the children to tell you about what they have learned.

Here are the new spelling lists for this term. We will start learning these spellings, starting with list 16 on Friday 24th October.
This week we are reviewing our 50 word spelling test, words 26 – 50. We are reviewing these as we need to know them for our 100 word spelling test at the end of the year. Please practise EVERY night, especially the spellings we got wrong in the midterm test.

We are now back from our holidays and keen to continue our studies. Term 2 has a number of exciting activities to keep the students fully engaged, including; Halloween, Annual Performance, Day of Pride and Christmas.
Here are some important dates this month;
Mathayom Parent-Teacher Meeting – Saturday 18th October
Chulalongkorn Day – Thursday 23rd October (school closed)
Halloween – Friday 31st October (special activities in the afternoon)
Annual Performance – Sunday 16th November
