100 Word Spelling Test Monday 15th February

Dear EP1 Purple Parents / Guardians ,.

There will be a 100 Words spelling Test which will be held on Monday the 15th of February.

Spelling tests 29, 30 and 31 Will not take Place Due to the End of Year Assessments.

The Words for spelling lists 29, 30 and 31 Will be included in the 100 Words spelling Test and are in Bold Below from Word 95 to Word 60..

The results of this spelling test will go towards part of your child’s end of year English assessment total.

All of the words listed below are words which the children are already familiar with.

I am certain that all of the pupils in ep1 will do well!

7 Continents and 5 Oceans Video

Below are two YouTube videos which I feel would be a fun way for the children to remember the 7 Continents and their locations, for their end of year Social test.

The children of EP1 Purple are currently getting familiar with this particular song/video and it would really benefit their learning if you could please watch and sing it with them regularly at home.

The aim of this particular video is for the children to shout out the 7 continents and 5 oceans as the world revolves around.

Please note that the Southern ocean is not highlighted in this video however, it is included in the children’s learning.

End of Year Spelling Lists

Dear EP1 Purple parents and guardians,

Below are the spelling lists which will take the children up to the end of the academic year.

School re-commences for the final quarter on Monday the 4th of January.

School opens on Monday 4th January.

Spelling test 25 will take place the second week back to school on Friday the 15th of January. Then every consecutive Friday after this.
