End of Term one 50 words Spelling Test

The children have their 50 word spelling test in their angry birds book and we have been practising their spellings at home and at school. We have our 50 Word Spelling Test on Friday the 12th September. I will be testing the children on 1-17 on Friday for practise. Please ensure we practise all the difficult spellings EVERY evening at home. Remember, LOOK, SAY, COVER, WRITE, CHECK! Keep up the great work EP1 Purple.

Science – Vertebrates and Invertebrates.

We have been studying Vertebrates and invertebrates in Science class. We know there are two types of animals, vertebrates; which have a backbone, and invertebrates, which have no backbone. We have learned what animals are vertebrates and which ones are invertebrates. This is a great video we have watched in class to understand about this topic. Watch it at home. The video also talks about mammals which we will be studying next week.
